Drinking water treatment in Zalaegerszeg

Civil works: 
In preparation for this project, over 20,000 linear metres of water pipes and over 40,000 linear metres cast iron construction were laid down. In addition, two water towers underwent renovation and network cleaning was performed throughout 226,988 metres of pipes.

Water treatment technology:
The technology used in this project consisted of an ultrafiltration system (UF) allowing the removal of suspended solids, iron, manganese and ammonia from well water. The system was designed to yield 4500 m3 of drinking water per day.

Automation and electrical work:
Integrated process control and automation system for the drinking water plant, using webSCADA software.
